The University Centre Peterborough (UCP) is conducting research for Peterborough Council’s Integrated Communities Strategy.

MENTAL health nurses based in the Constabulary’s Force Control Room provided advice on nearly 9,000 incidents in a single year, ensuring people in crisis got the right service at the right time.

Peterborough City Council announced local elections due to take place on 2nd May.  20 council seats are up for elections this year.

Shailesh Vara MP recently visited Spirotech-SRD Group’s Head Office in Sawtry, Huntingdonshire and met with Engineering Director David Gadsby.

Mr Vara was shown around the large manufacturing factory and learnt of their expansion plans, which will bring more jobs to the region.

Shailesh Vara MP presented the cups and trophies this weekend at the Ramsey and District Garden Club’s Annual Garden Show, hosted at the Ramsey Rural Museum.

Shailesh Vara MP has today been promoted by the Prime Minister to Minister of State for Northern Ireland, having served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department since January of this year.

Our MP for North West Cambridgeshire, Shailesh Vara, officially opened Stilton Parish Council’s changing room pavilion at the Village Playing Field recently (Saturday 18 February 2017).

Alderman Sheila Scott OBE was relected Chair and Sue Wiles as Secretary and Cath Cavenagh is the Hon Treasurer. 

Our chair Peter Hiller was invited to attend the AGM and lunch thereafter at the Bell in Stilton on 27th January.
