One of three Young Conservatives from North West Cambridgeshire elected to the city council in May 2021, Nicolle celebrated her 22nd birthday just days before polling day. Until recently, she was one of three Conservative councillors representing the fast-growing ward of Hargate and Hempsted; her two former co-councillors Mohammed Farooq and John Howard resigned from the city council Conservative group in early June.
Nicolle's special interests include the environment, which in 2021 led her to submit a detailed paper to the government's Environmental Audit Committee inquiry into 'green jobs' and their role in meeting the demands of sustainable post-COVID recovery.
