SHAILESH Vara, MP for North West Cambridgeshire since 2005, was successfully re-adopted today (April 1st) as the constituency candidate for the next general election. The decision was made by secret ballot, at a selection meeting overseen by an independent chairman appointed by the Conservative Party.
